A Mazda battery is a rechargeable battery that supplies electrical energy to your automobile.It’s also called an SLI battery (abbreviation of starting-lighting-ignition) and its main goal will be to start the Mazda engine.
The alternator supplies electricity for the car, once the engine is operating.
Normally, starting discharges less than three per cent of the battery capacity. SLI batteries are designed to release a high burst of current, measured in amperes, and then be quickly recharged.
They’re not designed for deep discharge, and the battery’s lifespan can be reduced by a full discharge.
